Oteramochi Kawaido

Shrine souvenirs with 400 years of history.

A Japanese confectioner founded in 1596 in the grounds of Aguchi Shrine, a place affectionately known as "Otera san". The rustic ankoro mochi and kinako mochi from here have become loved as souvenirs by those coming to pray, including among them the Sakai born poet Akiko Yosano.
