Kanbukuro

A venerable purveyor of the famous Sakai "kurumi mochi"

Founded in 1329. The current name of the shop was as ordered by warlord
Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who was active in the 16th century. Their confection the
"kurimi mochi" ("wrapping rice cake") is taken from it being mochi rice cake
wrapped around bean paste. Inside the store you can also eat it with shaved ice.
